Instant Pot Cinnamon Apples
This recipe for Instant Pot cinnamon apples has only four ingredients and is ridiculously easy to make. It is one of my favorites either as a side dish or as a dessert.

I often like to use Honeycrisp apples for this recipe. But you can use whatever your favorite is!

Peel and core the apples and then chop them into larger cubes.

Place the apples in the Instant Pot with brown sugar, cinnamon, and water and stir to coat. Note that this recipe uses only 1/4 cup water. Yes, that is lower than Instant Pot normally says to use, but it works for this recipe. I have seen some recipes go even as low as 1/8 cup of water.
While it is not in my recipe, you can also add some maple syrup to taste for additional flavor if you like. It tastes good drizzled over the finish apples too!
Pressure cook for 3 minutes with a quick release and they are done!

I like to serve my apples with bran muffins and sausage for breakfast, which is what my Mom did when I was kid, but she made fried apples since that was in pre-Instant Pot times.

These are also good served as a dessert with ice cream.

The recipe is below. Enjoy!
